So recently I was blessed with the opportunity to build the coffee bar for @chapel.church ‘s new building! After have been a part of the church for over 5 years now it was a real honor to be able to build something for our community and bring a fun space to our new building! Thank you to @pastor_troy_kc for giving me the opportunity to build this for the church and thank you to @ria_weiler @tina_bean86 @isaiahreasby and my wife @reallifedruid for all of the help and support you gave me throughout this wild process!! I truly feel blessed by this opportunity and can’t wait to see what else God has in store for me and my business!

Good morning everyone! In short, I won’t be at the market this morning.

This morning was a really good reminder that you can’t do everything all at once. As a husband, employee, and a creator, my life gets full pretty quick. I love every part of what I get to do but am prone to over do and overload myself, much to my wife’s chagrin. This morning was no different.
As I recently completed one of my largest commissions, I immediately went straight into an even bigger one, which I am so excited about! But sadly as I pulled up to my shop this morning, I hit a wall and my plate broke, there was just too much on it this week.

I called my wife and she told me to calm down, pray, and do what I need to today and that I know what I need to do. So I took something off my plate.

This morning I am going to be working on some new products and restocking since my shop is my happy space.

Two key points I pulled from this morning. Listen to your body, there is no shame in having to lighten your load so you don’t crash, just do it before it’s too late. Most importantly, listen to your wife. She knows you more than you do most of the time, you just need to listen! Thank you @reallifedruid for always having my back, even if you have to kick my ass more often then gentlemen nudges!

Let’s take a look at Chase’s most recent project for @theguidinglantern
Chase was commissioned by Steven to make the central bar set piece for his upcoming endeavor(go to his page to learn more!) The Guiding Lantern! Over the past month and a half, Chase has been working on turning Steven’s vision for this dream set piece into a reality. On Monday the 26th, Chase delivered the finished product to its new home and both men couldn’t be happier with the final product!

Chase grew up watching his dad build projects in the garage, and as he did, it built his love of making things and carpentry. Chase graduated from JCCC in 2019 with a degree in welding and metal fabrication. Shortly there after, he decided to start his own business, combining his two loves, carpentry and metal work! After a few years of just sitting as a hobby, it has become a main focus and drive this year! He hopes to bring his talents to the community and bring smiles to peoples faces!
